Dr. Parikh completed her undergraduate studies at UC Riverside in Southern California in 2019. She then pursued a graduate degree in optometry at Illinois College of Optometry.
In optometry school, Dr. Parikh participated in multiple research projects involving myopia management and dry eyes in the pediatric population. She presented her research to several scholarly meetings for which she received both grants and awards for. She has recently published her work in the Optometry and Vision Science Journal.
Dr. Parikh is passionate about helping her patients improve their vision as well as educating them about their eyes. She is excited to be a part of the Schauffele Optometry team and is eager to care for and get to know her patients.
While available for comprehensive care and disease management, she particularly enjoys children’s eye examinations and dry eye treatment. Dr. Parikh is excited to bring her optometric knowledge and compassionate approach to the Sacramento community.
