Sophany Chhim, O.D.

Dr. Chhim is an optometrist in the Sacramento/Roseville area.  She discovered her passion for optometry after being fitted into contact lenses for the first time in high school - not realizing how blurry the world had been up until that moment!  She went on to complete her undergraduate studies at California State University Stanislaus in 2006 with the goal of becoming an optometrist in mind.  She then went on to pursue her doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.  After completing her residency program with the Veteren's Affairs Hospital in Tuscon Arizona in 2011, she returned home to Northern California to be closer to family and friends.  Dr. Chhim joined Dr. Schauffele's office in early 2023.  Please call the office for availability.
