We're happy to offer the enhanced ability to test for macular degeneration risk factors using the simple ZeaVision QuantifEye Macular Pigment Measurement. When we determine a patient has concerning risk factors for this irreversible disease, we will discuss ways to minimize their risks. Recommendations include quitting smoking, protecting the eyes from UV exposure, and supplementing a healthy diet with additional nutrients shown to increase macular pigment.
